    • Sam Leeves - Nursery Manger

      I have worked with children for the last 6 years and have been at Bluebell Hill for nearly 4 years now. I started as relief staff whilst completing my degree in early years education, and have since enjoyed progressing in my career, and constantly building on my knowledge of the early years. I love being able to teach and inspire children every day, and mentoring staff in giving children the best possible experiences whilst at nursery. 

      I am also the nurseries SENDco and am passionate about ensuring inclusion is at the heart of everything we do, working closely with families and children to ensure every child gets the best possible outcomes from their time with us!

      In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walking my two dogs and going to the gym!

    • Lauren Smith - Deputy Manager

      Hi, I’m Lauren! I’ve been working in the Early Years for almost twenty years now. From the moment I left school, I knew I wanted to work with children, helping them learn, grow and develop. With a strong passion for the learning environments for children, I’ve spent a lot of time studying the Reggio Emilia philosophy, as well as Montessori philosophy. I’ve worked in a variety of different roles in the early years, from educator to SENCO, an additional adult for SEN children and had previous experience as a Deputy Manager. I believe community is at the heart of a nursery school, as it takes a village to raise a child and building strong relationships with children and parents is the way to strengthen that community.  When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my two children.

    • Chloe Hemsley - Deputy Manager

      Chloe is our amazing Deputy Manager at Bluebell Hill. Chloe has worked in childcare for 6 years, gaining lots of experience with all ages. Chloe joined the Bluebell team in 2021 and is an asset to our management team.

    • Chloella El-Hamri

      Chloella El-Hamri - Administrator

      Chloella is the newest member of the Bluebell team and is currently working as the administrator for both Bluebell Hill and Bluebell Wood. She has many years of experience working in finance and administration, as well as teaching children dance and performing arts. Therefore, she is particularly excited about this role, as it allows her to work within the children's sector again. In her spare time, Chloella enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, dancing and going to the gym.

    • Harriet Crouch - Group Operations Manager

      Harriet is our fantastic Operations Manager. Harriet has many years of experience working in the Early Years. Harriet joined the Bluebell family as the Nursery Manager of Bluebell Wood and now as the Operations Manager, Harriet oversees the running of all three of our fabulous nurseries. 

    • Bryony Adamson - Maternity Leave

      Bryony is our new administrator at Bluebell Hill and Bluebell Wood. She has many years of administration experience and has previously worked in Events, Care and Recruitment.  

      Bryony is excited to be a part of the Bluebell team and enjoys working alongside the managers.  

      Outside of Bluebell, Bryony has a passion for well-being. She teaches regular yoga classes and is even a qualified massage therapist! When Bryony isn’t working, she loves being a mum to her two boys.

    • Carmen Weller – Culture & Brand Co - Ordinator

      Carmen is our fabulous marketing and social media guru! Carmen has been working for Bluebell Children’s Nurseries since 2006. Carmen was the Nursery Manager of Bluebell Hill in 2012 where she proudly led them to achieve an Ofsted 'Outstanding'. Following her maternity leave, she returned to a new part-time role working with the broader team, developing marketing, parent relations and social media. Carmen is a huge part of Bluebell Nurseries and is a joy to work with. 

    • Lisa - People and Culture lead

      Lisa is our People and Culture Lead. For over 15 years she has been working as an employment lawyer in private practice and/or in a generalist HR advisory role.  Lisa has come full circle by joining the Bluebell family given that she started her working life in childcare.  This means that Lisa really understands our sector and our people.  She has covered all aspects of HR and employment law including recruitment and selection, retention, all areas of people management issues and much more!
