• About Us

  • Childcare at Bluebell Children’s Nurseries is renowned for its warmth, high standards of professionalism and sound early years education. We welcome babies and children from 3 months to 5 years of age, 5 days a week from 8am until 6pm all year round, with the option to book in for early starts and late finishes. We close for Bank Holidays and for a week at Christmas.

Our managers and staff take tremendous pride in providing a welcoming environment, where each child's happiness and well-being are the absolute priority. We help your child to grow in self-confidence as they learn and develop friendships. Our nurseries are friendly, fun, secure and stimulating with the children at the heart of everything we do.

If you’re thinking about childcare, we would love you to see what we do. Please contact our friendly nursery managers to arrange a visit at a time that suits you.

  • ACTIVITIES

Bluebell Children’s nurseries provides a well-planned and organised play environment that offers children rich and stimulating experiences, alongside opportunities to explore, experiment, plan and make decisions for themselves. The variety of activities we offer recognises and takes into account the differing ages, interests, backgrounds and abilities of the children in our care.

Wherever possible, all children are involved in the process of planning activities so that activities truly reflect their opinions, and so that children have ownership over their nursery day.

Take a look at our Facebook page for a glimpse into what the children are enjoying at our nurseries:

    THE GREAT OUTDOORS

At Bluebell Children’s Nurseries, we understand that exploring the outdoor environment is an important part of development of understanding of the world, both within the nursery and the surrounding areas. We recognise that many children prefer to learn outside. Therefore, adequate and unlimited time is set aside for these children.

The use of the outside area is not restricted by rigid daily routines which mean children who are thoroughly engaged in learning outside have to stop and their learning is interrupted. Each member of staff recognises that the Bluebell Children’s Nurseries’ curriculum focuses on promotion of children’s learning outside.

Bluebell Hill is excited to introduce 'WILD BEACH' The children will be taken to the beach each day, in our hybrid minibus to learn and explore, led by our Wild Beach Leaders.

SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES (SEND)

At Bluebell Children’s Nurseries we are committed to the inclusion of all children.

We recognise that some children may have additional needs that may require particular help, intervention and support. These needs may be short-lived for a particular time in the child’s life or may require longer-term support. At all times we will work alongside each child’s parents and any relevant professionals to share information, identify needs and help the child and their family access the support they need.
